21 Years Divecenter in Puerto Naos
You can find the dive center in the street Paseo Maritimo in Puerto Naos, in the building Playa Delfin, the nicest apartment complex. From our dive center it’s only 50 meters to the beach draped in coconut palms, creating a special atmosphere. Also here, there is the local reef which is one of the prettiest places to dive in La Palma. There are lava rocks and a wide variety of Moray Eels (we can guarantee Brown Morey Eel and the Fangtooth Morey Eel), sandy areas with rays and a drop off point where divers can go down to 35 meters in depth and find Black Coral. In March 2006 we moved to our new offices in the low part the Playa Delfin building.
As the shop has 170m sq we have sufficient space to make the time you spend here as nice as possible. Reading corner, and “debriefing” area, reception and office, equipment area, changing room and the bottle place and naturally there is work shed. Outside we have a place to clean the equipment after diving.
Our air is produced by a compressor “Bauer Verticus” which has the volume of 230l/per minute. The quality of the air is excellent, dry and clean and is guaranteed by the filter system “Bauer Securus” and during the filling process the air is controlled electronically.
We can also produce Nitrox using a precise method with our Nitrox-, and Trimix-mixing station. For this we are the only ones on the island with the conditions to produce mixes of gas up to 100% oxygen. Which means we have facilities to welcome divers with rebreathers and mixes to suit your personal needs. These are produced by Georg who has the appropriate certificate to do so from the organisation IANTD.
