Organisation of Diving

The submarine topography of the island favorites shore dives that lead you to steep faces and drop-offs into blue depth just a few meters off the beach, offering fascinating dives for beginners and experienced divers as well. Seven days a week diving includes two dives per day in winter and three dives per day in summertime with additional night dives if desired. You can choose between 10, 12 and 15 l steel-bottles.

We meet at 9:30 a.m. at the dive center where dive sites are scheduled depending on the weather conditions and divers interests. Diving sites in the south and east of the island are reached by car and our dive-center-vehicles. On the site, two dives are performed after elaborate briefings and grouping of the buddy teams. After the first –and usually deeper – dive we have an hour of recreation before we start the second dive. Before returning to Puerto Naos, we come to one of the numerous kiosks and tapa bars to have a refreshment. The dive-center-bus is equipped with a complete emergency set, including oxygen supply, first aid box, signal- and rescue equipment.

Please note! Scuba diving is in Spain regulated by law. It follows that every diver next to a diving license must have a medical certificate and a diving accident insurance! If necessary, may be issued by a German doctor’s certificate here. Travel or accident insurance often include diving accidents, but clarifies this please from with your insurance. If you don’t have an insurance you can conclude it in the divecenter for single days, week or month.
